Familiar with a Chia Pet, the small statuette you water until grass springs up in place of hair? Well, what do you think about Chia Obama?

That’s right, a tiny bust of our 44th president that you water until a mini green ’fro covers his head. Some say the product is downright racist, while others say at the very least it’s in very bad taste.   Still, others say people are getting just a little too touchy when it comes to feelings about the nation’s first African-American president.

Whatever your personal feelings about Chia Obama, the complaints were enough to prompt some Walgreens stores in Chicago and Tampa to pull it off the shelves. Store officials say the product “is not appropriate for the company’s corporate image."

It is unclear whether other Walgreens will follow suit as many customers clamor to collect their Chia Obama.
